New Boxer Puppy

Welcome Home :)

3 Month Old Bella
We have a new Boxer puppy in our family. Her Name is Bella. She is 3 months old and in great shape. Beautiful Fawn Colors and sweet and energetic.

Our journey to pick her up from the breeder was about a 1:30 drive. The drive there was pretty quick. There was two females remaining from the litter. We picked the Boxer that was more calm and seemed to mind pretty well.

The drive home was exciting as well up to the 45 minute mark. When she stood on my wife's lap and leaned her head over to me and threw up. It was like a log of dog food had came out. (sorry for the graphic image.) This caused us to make and emergency stop to clean the mess up on the side of the highway. I guess she go motion sick. (first time in a car).

First thing we did when we got home was introduce her to the house and the back yard and then gave her a bath. She was a little nervous, maybe due to the being wet and having the chills after. I wrapped her in a towel and held her in the couch with me to help calm her nerves and to also warm her and dry her completely.

We made sure to say her name over and over to get her use to start hearing her name being called. She did pee on the carpet, but that was to be expected.

Supplies

Things that we needed to get for Bella. We already had a large dog cage. We need dog food and treats and puppy chew bones to keep her busy while in the cage for extend times.

I had a dog bed that I used when I use to have Boxers from before. I placed it in here cage so she would have something comfortable to lay on while we went to store to get the supplies.

When we got back Bella had a present waiting for us. Mama took her right out to pee and I cleaned up hte presents in the cage and took the dog bed out as it had the gift smeared on it. :)
